How You're Protected

What happens to your money and your booking when you hire a pro on TaskPullUp.

Pros are checked before they go live

Pros go through a verification process before they appear to customers. Providing false information, including falsified licenses or identity documents, results in permanent removal from the platform.

Pay safely in the app

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by TaskPullUp or shown to the pro.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before

Cancel more than 24 hours ahead and you pay nothing. A payment hold is released, and a payment already taken is refunded in full.
Cancel inside 24 hours and 20% of the service price is kept as a late-cancellation fee. The other 80% is released or refunded to you.
If the pro cancels, you are refunded in full, whatever the timing, and you are never charged a late fee.

No-show charges are reviewable

If a pro marks a booking as a no-show, you can contest the charge from My Bookings within 24 hours. The pro's payment is paused while we review it.

Reviews you can trust

Ratings and reviews come from customers on the platform, so you can see how a pro's past jobs went before you book.
